在我看来，我们的行业只发生过两次结构性转变。
第一次结构性转变是中本聪共识创造了数字资产。它不仅仅是货币和资金，它也是我们所见过的最好的版权保护形式。
第二个结构性转变是以太坊提出的智能合约的诞生。现在，我们也可以让货币可编程。
一旦区块链技术的吞吐量、安全性和采用率达到一定的规模，第三次结构性转变就会发生。不幸的是，这还没有发生，因为大多数的规模化尝试都牺牲了真正的去中心化和安全性。

我希望我有时间谈谈公司里的每个人，但每个人的背景都差不多。例如，团队中80%以上的人都有硕士和研究生学历，大多数人都是来自于常春藤联盟或同等级别的学校。团队成员平均来说，他们都有15年左右的工作经验，既有在贝恩资本、微软、谷歌、Adobe、Avalara、亚马逊、DropBox这样的龙头企业，也有以太坊、HoneyBadger、Maidsafe等协议的工作经验。

我们是CasperLabs的创始投资人--我们投资了Pre-A。除了股权之外，我们还投资了代币。我们之所以投资股权，是因为我们看中了管理团队的激励机制--他们的激励主要来自于股权。他们得到的不是免费的代币----他们得到的是股权----这意味着他们将长期在项目中。Mrinal是股东，Scott是股东，Vlad是股东--主要团队都是股东。而其他入股的投资人包括MichaelArrington，Hashkey，现在还有TimDraper。而作为投资者，RockTree希望在股权上与管理层长期保持统一战线。同时，我们也投资了代币，以获得较快的短期回报。
