OnNovember18ththeDAIheldonBitfinexwillberenamedasSAI,torepresentthatitisthelegacyversionofthetoken.ThemarketsonBitfinexwillbefortradingSAI.PleasenotethatthetickersviaAPIwillremain"DAI".OnDecember2ndallSAIheldonBitfinexwillbeconvertedtoDAI,andonlyDAIwillbesupportedgoingforwardfortrading.Howtobepartoftheupgrade?IfyoualreadyholdDAIonourplatformandwishtoparticipateinthisupgrade,youdonotneedtodoanything-thefundswillbeautomaticallyupgradedonDecember2nd.
WhatifIdon'twanttoupgrade?Userswhodonotwishtoupgrademustopt-outbywithdrawingtheirfundsbeforeDecember2nd.OnthisdatewewillsuspendalldepositsandwithdrawalsofSAIandanyremainingSAIontheexchangewillbeconvertedintoDAI.Aftertheupgrade,whichisexpectedtobecompletedonDecember2nd,depositsandwithdrawalsofDAI(Multi-CollateralDai)willopen.SAI(Single-CollateralDai)depositsmadeontoBitfinexafterDecember2ndwillnotbecredited.Pleaseexerciseextremecaretoavoiddepositingwrongtokensortoawrongaddressaswecannotguaranteethatfundsarerecoverable.
