动态 | Gavin Wood 称波卡实验网络Kusama最快在下周切换为 PoS 共识:波卡 Polkadot 联合创始人 Gavin Wood 宣布，波卡实验网络 Kusama 已更新为 PrePoS 版本，节点需要将 Polkadot 升级为最新的 0.6.3 版本，其中将包含最新 1005 版本的 Kusama CC2 网络。Kusama 在这次升级中新增一个密码学工具 SECP256k1 曲线，也就是比特币和以太坊使用的那种曲线，而在这之前 Kusama 仅支持两类密码学方案，分别是 Ed25519 和 Ristretto。如果网络运行顺利，Wood 认为 Kusama 有希望在下周切换为 PoS 共识，一开始有 50 个验证节点，之后会增加为 100 个节点甚至更多。[2019/10/26]
