其中，传统电商平台主要采用区块链技术对价值较高、安全需求高的产品进行溯源，区块链电商主要是发行通证，以去中心化的方式经营平台。目前将区块链应用于电商行业的共有将近 50 家项目，中国项目约有 30 个，占60%。
整体看来，大部分项目于 2017 年底， 2018 年初出现，对于区块链技术的应用处于探索尝试阶段，绝大部分只是将区块链技术应用于商品溯源上，而在支付、底层设计上均未涉及区块链。[2018/11/12]
Skycoin创始人遭中国社区团队抢劫并非法囚禁6个小时:Skycoin昨日在其官网发布了对原中国社区运营团队的处理公告。据公告，Skycoin团队从6月1日起解除与原Skycoin中国社区运营团队（EVOLAB） 的所有运营劳务关系，并建立了新的中文社区圈子和联络群，向各大交易所发出了协同声明，冻结了嫌疑人及相关可疑账户的数字资产充提交易权限。据悉，6月初，Skycoin团队发现EVOLAB存在私自挪用侵占约10万个天空币的现象，此后，EVOLAB成员李臻等9人非法闯入Skycoin创始人Synth家中，非法控制Synth及其家人长达6个多小时，并殴打Synth及其妻子致轻伤；抢劫了18.88个BTC及6466个Skycoin(天空币)；还试图盗取天空社区生态链的全线设计原型并控制天空链上所有资产未果。截止至2018年6月18日18：00，嫌疑人的交易所全部持币账户已被冻结，场内交易市场逐渐回复稳定。据非小号数据显示，SKY当前价格为42.59，跌幅达到30.48%。[2018/6/19]
